Brownie II a hint of things to come. The top will be made from reclaimed Red Cedar called "sinkers". 30 grain lines per inch , old growth , pulled from a river in the pacific north west in the 90s ,over 130 years old. The back is curly walnut.
Wow what a wild ride. This has been a great project start to finish. I hate to say Its over so I wont. New beginnings are all about exceling to the next level, making and improving and growing. So Its done, but not over. New pics , New build!!!-------
A couple of the newer jigs made for this arch top build. A clone of Stewmacs neck jig and a neck glue up jig.
We are wrapping this build up quickly now. I just got the Jumbo TKL case, Its a nice case and I only had to adjust the neck support a tad. Ill be string it up with stainless flat wounds 11-52, in a day or 2. the compensated brass nut is being fine tuned
Im nearing the end of this build now. Minor finishing and polishing, some work on the frets, a setup and intonation coming up.
